My inspiration
My paintings draw their inspiration mainly from the richness of nature. I represent it in abstract and semi-abstract forms, giving life to dreamlike landscapes from my imagination. From land to sea, these landscapes are often magnified by powerful atmospheric conditions. My paintings are made up of a multitude of reliefs and/or bas-relief sculptures.
I systematically integrate gold leaf into all my paintings, a distinctive signature of my work. I also use collages of prisms and different shiny stones to create a unique jewelry effect.
To paint, I practice meditation, which allows me to explore my imagination more deeply and bring an introspective dimension to my works.
I love working with colors, using mixtures that I develop myself over time. My recipes include foods, firings, inks, acrylic paint and various liquids, combined to create deep colors worked in glazes.
